Privacy Policy
This policy explains what personal information Trembling Giant Marketing, LLC, doing business as TremblingMarketing (“we”, “us”), collects when you use tremblingmarketing.com, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. If anything here is unclear, email us at [email protected] and we will explain it in plain language.
Information we collect
Information you give us
- Your name, phone number, email address and website when you submit a request form.
- What you tell us about your business: category, goals, current budget and existing accounts.
- Billing details you enter at checkout, including your name, email, phone and billing address.
- Anything you send us later by email, phone or messaging while we work together.
Payment information
Card payments are processed by Stripe, Inc. We never receive or store your full card number, expiration date or security code. Stripe shares with us only the order amount, the payment status, the last four digits of the card and the contact details you entered. Stripe processes that data under its own privacy policy.
Information collected automatically
- Your IP address, browser and device type, referring page and the pages you view on our site.
- Analytics data, such as pages viewed and how you reached the site, if we have analytics enabled. We do not sell this information.
- The bundle you build in our service store is saved in your browser’s local storage so it survives a page reload. It stays on your device and is never sent to us until you submit a request or start a payment.
How we use your information
- To answer your request, prepare a proposal and put together a media plan.
- To deliver the services you ordered and communicate with you while we do it.
- To take payment, issue receipts, keep accounting records and handle refunds.
- To detect and prevent fraud, abuse and security incidents.
- To improve our website, our offers and our own marketing.
- To send you marketing emails, only if you asked for them or are an existing client. Every email has an unsubscribe link and we honour it immediately.
For visitors in the EU, UK and similar jurisdictions, our legal bases are: performance of a contract with you, our legitimate interest in running and improving the business, compliance with legal obligations, and your consent where consent is required.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal information and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising. We do share it with service providers that help us operate, and only for that purpose:
- Stripe โ payment processing and fraud prevention.
- Hosting and infrastructure providers that run our server and domain.
- Email, analytics and CRM tools we use to reply to you and track enquiries.
- Advertising and marketing platforms such as Google, Microsoft, Meta, TikTok and LinkedIn โ when we manage campaigns in your accounts as your service provider.
- Professional advisers, and authorities when the law requires it or to protect our legal rights.
If our business is ever sold or merged, your information may transfer to the buyer as part of that transaction, subject to this policy.
Cookies and tracking
We use a small number of cookies and similar technologies: those needed for the site and checkout to work, and analytics cookies that measure traffic. If we later add advertising pixels, we will name them on this page. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking analytics cookies does not affect your ability to browse or pay.
We honour the Global Privacy Control signal where your browser sends one.
How long we keep it
- Enquiries that do not become projects: up to 24 months.
- Client records, contracts and correspondence: for the length of the engagement plus 3 years.
- Payment and tax records: for as long as tax law requires, generally 7 years.
How we protect it
The site runs over HTTPS, payment data goes straight to Stripe, and access to client accounts and our order records is limited to the people who need it. No system is perfectly secure, so we cannot promise absolute security โ but if a breach affects your data, we will notify you as the law requires.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to know what personal information we hold, get a copy of it, correct it, delete it, limit how we use it, and opt out of marketing. You can also ask us not to sell or share your information โ although we do neither.
California residents have these rights under the CCPA as amended by the CPRA, including the right not to be discriminated against for exercising them. Residents of other states with privacy laws, and visitors from the EU and UK, have comparable rights.
To exercise any of them, email [email protected] with the request. We will verify who you are and respond within the timeframe the law allows, normally 45 days. You may use an authorised agent. If you are in the EU or UK, you may also complain to your local data protection authority.
Children
Our services are sold to businesses. The site is not directed at children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child sent us data, email us and we will delete it.
International visitors
We operate in the United States. If you contact us from elsewhere, your information will be processed in the United States, where privacy laws may differ from those in your country.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page, and for significant changes we will say so on the site or by email.
